Hidden Figures

The American drama film Hidden Figures (2016) is based on a true story. The story of how afro-American women in the United States of America were able to succeed in the 1960's. We meet the mathematician Katherine Goble (played by Taraji P. Henson), her colleague Mary Jackson (played by Janelle Monáe) and her supervisor Dorothy Vaughan (played by Octavia Spencer) in the year 1961. While the movie mainly revolves around Katherine Gobles contribution to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration during the space race, the movie portrays a more important topic; equality, both by gender and race. We also meet Glen Powell as John Glenn, an American astronaut. He was the first American to orbit Earth, circling it three times in 1962.

  1. I loved the depth and the passion that is expressed through this article. I really felt like the writer was concerned and cared about our society. Also, I would like to say that I found the vocabulary quite impressive. I mean, this article could have been written by a native English speaker for all I know. Very impressive

Even though we were writing about the same thing, with more or less the same instructions, our articles were very different. I feel like my article went more into each and every case that the New Yorker article went into, but your article grasped more on the surface. Nothing bad about that, cause you wrote about so much more. I find it so interesting that our article is so different, even though we were writing about the same thing.

I am very impressed, but if I had to say something for future reference, I would advice you to use the same font and font size throughout the whole article.
